An experienced educator with a degree in Psychology and a background as a high school Language Arts teacher, Ziven has taught students ages 5-18 in a college-preparatory setting, specializing in intensive writing, reading comprehension, creative writing, foundational reading, grammar, and language arts. Her experience also includes learning and behavioral intervention, with a focus on supporting students as young as 2-years-old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning differences. She incorporates structured teaching, visual supports, pattern-based learning, and executive-function strategies to make academics more accessible while encouraging independence, engagement, and confidence. As an SAT and SSAT preparation specialist, she provides personalized instruction that builds logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while developing effective test-taking strategies and confidence. Her approach centers on understanding how each student learns best and creating an individualized path that helps learning click.
